Brown Bread

Preheat your oven to 200°C. Place flours, salt and bicarbonate in a bowl, stirring to combine. Using your fingertips, rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.


Whisk the eggs and extra yolk into the flour, add the sugar and salt and stir in the buttermilk along with the melted butter and baking powder and a little extra water if required.
