Skip the takeaway this week and wow the family with this sprouted homemade pizza base recipe. Why not get everyone in on the fun and host a pizza topping competition where the winner takes gold for their best topping combo. The real question is…pineapple on or off!?
Homemade Pizza Base
220g warm water
2 tblsp olive oil
5g instant yeast (dry)
2. Cover and leave in a warm area and allow to double in size for 2-3 hours. You can sprinkle more flour on the dough if it is too sticky to handle.
3. Sprinkle the countertop with flour and roll out the pizza.
4. Add toppings of your choice such as tomato sauce, mozzarella and pepperoni. Leave to rest for 5 minutes before cooking.
5. Place in a preheated oven at 220ºC for 10 mins or until the top is golden and bubbling.
